Each DTS comes together for the official lecture times to hear a range of topics from speakers from all around the world. During other times we will learn about the Business As Mission (BAM) movement and the strategic role it is playing in missions today. We will also explore the scriptures to understand God's design for business and its potential to bring transformation to the spiritual, social, and physical foundations of a community. We will spend a week learning from a globally recognized leader in the BAM movement. You will be involved in REAL business as we partner with a BAM initiative on the field to implement a project that will result in REAL jobs being created.
While on outreach you will work in a BAM initiative and see first hand the Kingdom impact and transformational potential of BAM. You will do real business and real missions in an integrated and holistic way, serving short-term to bring long-term impact.
We will go over all the necessary terminology and lingo as well as elementary business ideas. We will help you learn all you need to know. Ok, maybe not all you need to know, but definitely a solid foundation.
