TESTIMONY

A few days ago, some of us went out to get a haircut at a local barbershop. The barber was super interested in getting to know us and as he cut our hair, we talked about our interests and what has brought us to Southeastern Europe. When we told him we were believers in Jesus, he started talking about the neighborhood mosque right across the street. After our haircut, he invited us to visit the mosque. It was a little green mosque tucked away in a gardened area off the main road. Our barber was introducing us to the Imam and other mosque leaders. The call to prayer went off, but instead of asking us to leave, the Imam invited us to come inside and watch the evening prayer. As they were praying on the main floor, we were praying over them from the balcony. I thought something felt different and when we came outside at the end of prayer, the Imam and other leaders seemed very open. We talked for almost an hour. During that time, we were able to share the entire gospel with them and answer some of their questions about Christianity. They remembered us when we came back a few days later and were open to talk more. The Imam especially seemed very interested in what we had to say, and we are praying for his salvation every day.
