Discipleship Bible School (DBS)
Have you ever tried to read through the whole Bible and got confused reading about the blood of the sin offering in Leviticus? Have you ever wondered how God could be wrathful but also merciful and just? Maybe you have never even attempted some books in the Old Testament because they are “too difficult”? If you relate to any of these statements, we would love to invite you to take the Discipleship Bible School.
THE LECTURE PHASE
During the eleven-week lecture phase we will read through the entire Bible chronologically in small groups while also having lectures explaining the historical context, authorship and original audience of each book. There are so many questions surrounding the Bible today and in the DBS, we want to create a space where we can have discussions about these difficult questions and watch as God reveals Truth through His word. Through it all, our desire is for all students to know God in a way that they haven’t known as they discover more of who He really is as they read scripture everyday.
After the lecture we want to put into practice all that God has taught us through His word by taking what we have learned to the nations!
THE OUTREACH PHASE
We believe not only in knowing God for ourselves but making Him known to the least reached parts of the world.
Following the lecture phase, we will be going on outreach to put into practice and teach what we have learned. More details will come as we know what this will look like!
