The Lecture Phase

For the first half of the school, each DTS participates in shared lectures with a range of topics from speakers from around the world.

The Sports DTS has weekly break-out sessions as well as a week-long intensive set aside to engage in healthy competition in a variety of sports. We’ll hit the basketball court and the football, soccer, and ultimate frisbee fields. We may even throw in some softball, dodgeball, or a corn hole tournament. We know that through sports we have the unique opportunity to preach the gospel and to build relationships quickly and efficiently. Join us in exploring the universal language of sports in the least reached parts of the world.

The Outreach Phase

Finally, each DTS comes together and prayerfully splits up into teams to be then sent to the nations. You will spend the remaining months overseas reflecting Jesus’ call to ‘GO’. In teams, you are given the opportunity to explore and apply all they learned in the lecture phase. It’s a great opportunity to begin implementing and further exploring the gifts God has given you.
