Hearing God - a poem on His indwelling voice

His poetry,

spoken & entangled

in star clusters

& our own beating hearts.

speckled throughout

the fragments of rock

falling from the peaks

& hidden in

the breath of our lungs.

resting in petals,

written across the wings

of moths & bees.

all around us,

His voice.

we are not only within it,

but it,

within us.

this Holy union,

our Maker’s own musings

dancing across

the landscape of our mind.

would we believe and join

in this glorious waltz,

following His steps

& turns

letting Love’s songs

shower our bodies

& lead us to places of peace.
